John joined All Weather Capital as a Non-Executive Chairman in September 2015 and was appoint as an Executive Chairman from August 2016. John is the former Principal Executive Officer (PEO) of the GEPF, the largest Pension Fund in Africa with assets north of (R1.2 trillion) US$120billion. He was the key driver behind GEPF's leading investment policies and strategy. John worked closely with the board, he managed to double the assets of the GEPF in less than 5 years, during the toughest economic environment in recent history. John also served on a number of key strategic industry initiatives including being a member of PRI Advisory council and Chairman of CRISA. John helped establish the Code for Responsible Investing in South Africa (CRISA), which is hailed as one of the best in the world, this lead him to winning the, “Industry Person of the year” in financial services in 2012. He was also recognised by the Mail and Guardian as one of the Top 200 young South Africans in 2012 for his contribution in the world of Pensions. In 2013 he was named Africa's Top Emerging leader by Africa Investor.

Shane is an Executive Director and the CIO of All Weather Capital. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant he began his investment career at Liberty Asset Management in 1995 as an investment analyst and progressed to be a Senior Fund Manager, managing a Unit Trust, some third party pension funds and eventually the main life fund of the Liberty Group. Thereafter he spent 3 years as a Director of Corporate Finance at UBS Warburg before moving to Peregrine Capital as a Director. After 7 years at Peregrine Capital he started his own business now called All Weather Capital.

Sanelisiwe joined All Weather Capital as a trainee equity analyst in June 2014. He previously worked for the National Treasury of South Africa as a Budget Analyst. His work involved the analysis of national government departments’ budgets, analysis of departments’ strategic goals and making recommendations on allocations to be made to departments during the fiscal year.

Chris joined All Weather Capital as a trainee equity analyst in June 2014. He previously worked for Bloomberg New Energy Finance as a researcher specialising in sub-Saharan Africa renewable energy and electricity market research. His work involved the analysis of renewable energy project economics and market mechanisms.
Bcom Hons Investment Management, Passed CFA Level 1
Dumisani joined All Weather Capital as a Trainee Equity Analyst in October 2016. He is currently at Standard Chartered Bank in the Client on Boarding and Management Team where he conducts due diligence and coverage on Financial Institutions with a focus on Investors and intermediaries, he previously worked for the Corporate Actions Team at Standard Chartered whilst completing honours studies at the University of Johannesburg in 2015.

Gomolemo joined All Weather as an Equity Analyst specialising in ESG in September 2018. Prior to joining All Weather, Gomolemo briefly worked at Nedgroup Investments as a Junior Investment Analyst for 7 months, where she conducted asset manager research as well as conduct and compile industry research and product development to provide the most appropriate range of products for the company. Prior to Nedgroup Investments, Gomolemo interned and worked at Stanlib Asset Management for 4 years as a Investment Support Administrator while she obtained her Honours degree in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg in 2015 during this tenure.
BSC Mining & Engineering
Prince joined All weather capital as an Equity analyst in August 2018. He completed his BSc Mining Engineering at the University of Witwatersrand. He Previously worked at Benguela Global Fund Managers for two and a half years.
BCom (Financial Management), currently completing Honours in Business Management, majoring in Operational Risk Management, Market Risk Management and Finance.
Mmakgotso joined the All Weather Operations team in February 2018, as the Portfolio Assistant and Business Development. She completed her BCom in Financial Management at UNISA in 2016. Thereafter she was part of a 12 Month graduate program at Mimecast.
Mark joined All Weather Capital as the Operations Manager and Fund Accountant in October 2014. Prior to joining All Weather he worked for Barclay’s Capital as a Senior Assistant Vice President for 8 months, working on the Product Control for the New York trading desk. Before Barclays Mark worked for Capricorn Hedge Fund Managers for five and a half years as the Fund Accountant.
